St Peters School

This morning Sarah and I went to St Peters School for an OCC assembly.  We started the assembly by singing Be Happy even though it was pouring with rain outside we can still be happy.  We then showed them a Minion mini movie with two Minions fighting over a banana - the children though it was great.  I pointed out that the Minions did not want to share what they had with each other and that they wanted it all for themselves - in other words they were selfish.  I talked with the children about clip and how we can be the opposite of what they did in collecting things together and filling a shoe box.  Sarah then went through what needs to go into a shoe box talking about the soap and toothpaste and the coloured pens and paper.  To finish we sang Help Me Be Your Eyes then we closed with a prayer.
