Broughton School

This morning I went over to Broughton School for the assembly.  After singing God's Love is Bigger than a Burger I told the children the story of Ruth. I explained that Ruth is a small book in the Bible which could easily be missed or over looked as you flicked through the pages.  After the story I talked about just how much God loves us and that we should try to love other people like Ruth loved Naomi in the story.  Ruth worked so hard for her mother in law and that showed great love and kindness which eventually was rewarded when she married Boaz.  So I encouraged the children to be like her and show love and kindness to each other day by day.  To close we sang I Love You then I said a short prayer.
