This morning we took the assembly at St Peters. The junior aged children were going on a school trip so we only had the infants. Sarah received a text from me at the start of the talk and couldn't read it as it was in text language. So I sent her another message this time in semaphore, Sarah replied in Morse code. The point was we wanted to demonstrate the different ways in which we can communicate which led onto how we communicate with God and how He communicates with us and shows us his love. I then showed a series of shapes that moved to form a cross. But before it was completed the children had already started to guess what it was.
