Low Furness School - chatting with God

Sarah and I went to take the assembly at Low Furness today when OFSTED are in.  We did the assembly about chatting to God and used the Samuel story as a way into the theme.  God needed someone that he could talk to and trust to carry out his instructions and he picked Samuel.  However he was only a boy.  The point was that no matter how old we are, or where we are we can always talk to God.  To end we sang Wonderful Lord and during the middle part I prompted the children to chat with God.  Sarah finished off with a prayer.
