St Peters - Lent Assembly

We had a wonderful drive over to St Peters this morning.  The sun was shinning and it was a clear spring day.  After singing Be Happy because we felt so happy with the day we went on to talk about the time of year which is Lent.  We used some power point slides that we had downloaded which gave the reason behind Lent, I didn't read them all out exactly as they were because I added bits in and took bits away.  At the end I asked the children some questions about Lent which they answered really well.  Sarah said the prayer that came with the power point and did the Lord's Prayer also then we all sang Shine.
