Low Furness School

Yesterday  we did our last assembly of the year at Low Furness School.  We started with God's Love is Bigger Than a Burger.  after that we told the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego which followed on from the transition assembly we had done.  To help tell the story I had some pictures to display.  I made the point that God's love was so big that he protected them from the fire and the fact that they stood up for what they believed in as well.  Sarah continued this theme as she reminded the children of the verse in Joshua which we had used for the transition assembly - Be strong and courageous do not be afraid for God is with you wherever you go.  After this we sang as a special treat for the year 6 children the chicken Dance.  I then closed the assembly with a prayer.
