Pennington School

This morning I once again joined with the 2019 Transition team for an assembly and then a lesson with the year 6 children at Pennington school.  For the assembly we did a short drama about a family that was on the move - it was a modern day take on the story of Abraham.  Afterwards the link between the story and the drama was explained as well as the link to the children in the school as they move on.  Afterwards we sang Great Big God as well as encouraging them with the words in Joshua 1:8 - Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid for God is with you wherever you go.  We then did a workshop for an hour or so with the year 6 children.
