Croftlands Junior School

This morning Sarah and I went to do the assembly at Croftlands Junior School.  It was good to see all the children again.  We told the lost sheep story and used the visuals from the company 'Lost Sheep' which feature Cecil the Sheep.  As I read the story and displayed the pictures the children laughed at some of the things Cecil did.  After the story Sarah pointed out that Jesus told all kinds of stories to people and they all have a heavenly meaning.  The meaning of this one is that God loves us and will continue to love us - like the shepherd loved Cecil and didn't want to lose him.  After the story we snag God's Love is Bigger than a Burger before I closed with a prayer.
