Lindal and Marton School

This morning Sarah and I went to do the assembly at Lindal and Marton School.  It was really lovely to see all the children and staff again.  We did our harvest assembly we started by thinking about time and what or who tells us when it is time to get up, go to school have lunch etc.  We then played the 1 minute game before I started to talk about the apple.  I asked the children who or what tells the apple seed to grow.  This led into some Bible verses from Genesis about creation and how God put the seeds into the apple (and other fruits too) and He also provides the right conditions for them to grow.  At this time of year I continued we think about harvest and we thank God for all that He provides for us, but we should say thank you everyday for the food stuffs we have.  To finish off we sang Creator God and Sarah ended with a prayer.
