Priory Day - Cartmel

Today Sarah and I have had a great day down at Cartmel Priory when 6 local schools sent their year 5 and 6 pupils.  We started the morning off before leading a worship and singing workshop.  The children working in 6 groups moved round during the day from a craft area to drama, prayer space, games, treasure hunt and to worship/singing.  The theme this year was Moses and the burning bush so at the start of the day I told them the story to get them started.  Then during our workshop we explained with a video clip what worship is and sang some songs.  We had a mix of loud big action songs and reflective ones too.  At the end of the day we finished with a few more songs and then  Wonderful Lord.
